Certi-Split® Handsplit and Resawn Shakes
Handsplit and Resawn shakes have split faces and sawn backs and are produced by running a split wood blank, made on a cuber (splitter), diagonally through a bandsaw.

Certigrade® Shingles
Shingles have smooth sawn backs and fronts. Shingles are produced by sawing blocks on a shingle machine, tilting the block each cut to produce tapered pieces and then trimming the edges.

Certigrade® Rebutted & Rejointed Shingles
Shingles that are trimmed for parallel edges with butts sawn at right angles and are available in both sawn and sanded face textures. *A variety of finish options are available and include primed white, primed gray or special – order colors.
